ADHD & Executive Functioning Assessments
Our comprehensive ADHD evaluations help determine whether difficulties with attention, organization, impulse control, and executive functioning are impacting a child's academic, social, or daily functioning. Evaluations combine clinical interviews with evidence-based rating scales and, when appropriate, cognitive or academic testing to provide diagnostic clarity and individualized recommendations for treatment, school accommodations, and medication consultation.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessments
Our comprehensive autism evaluations provide thorough, evidence-based assessments for children, adolescents, and adults with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Evaluations include the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview–Revised (ADI-R), along with developmental history, adaptive functioning measures, and clinical observations to provide diagnostic clarity and individualized recommendations for treatment, educational planning, and community supports.
OCD & Anxiety Disorder Assessments
Our evaluations help distinguish obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and related conditions from other emotional or behavioral concerns. Through comprehensive clinical interviews, standardized assessment measures, and diagnostic evaluation, we identify underlying symptoms and provide clear recommendations to guide treatment planning, school supports, and referrals for evidence-based care such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Transition Consultation Services
We provide in depth, expert consultation to individuals and families who are looking for guidance in navigating all areas of transition from K-12 to the post secondary education/trade, adult services and workforce settings. This includes assistance with accessing adult services via OPWDD, OMH, Medicaid, ACCES-VR and other state and federal programs.
Guardianship Evaluations
Guardianship Evaluations are completed to determine if an individual has the ability to make independent decisions regarding their medical, financial, and personal affairs. Zen Psychology & Wellness clinicians are skilled at completing these assessments and the Affidavit of Examining Licensed Psychologist paperwork required for this process.
School-Based Support Services & Learning Evaluations
Our evaluations help identify learning differences, cognitive strengths and weaknesses, executive functioning challenges, and academic skill deficits that may impact success in school. Assessment results include practical recommendations for classroom accommodations, intervention planning, IEP and 504 support, and collaboration with families, schools, and other professionals to promote academic success.
